Description
“Key-hole” apertured hydrocellular polyurethane foam designed to fit neatly around the tracheostomy or the drainage tube. Foam dressing consisting of an highly absorbent soft polyurethane foam layer and of a breathable polyurethane film which is water and bacteria impermeable but vapour permeable.
Fluids are uniformly distributed into the foam dressing which, thus, perfectly conforms to the tracheostomy or drainage tube assuring superior fluid management for a longer period of time. This minimized discomfort for the patient and results more cost effective The dressing can stay in place for up to 7 days.
The frequency of change results from the clinical conditions, the type of wound and the quantity of exudates.
